Both Living the Dream and Sex, Lies & Fairytales are available from Whole Story Audio, read by me. It was without exception the hardest job I have ever done! Towards the end of recording Living the Dream I thought that I had run through the gamut of the various accents I had to assume until - on page 506 - I realised that Astrid, the sexy Swedish au-pair, had a couple of lines to deliver. Fresh hell! I staggered out of that recording booth vowing that my next novel would contain the line: 'Astrid the sexy Swedish au pair came into the room, but before she could open her mouth to speak, the gunman shot her dead.'
